The S-1 Applied Manufacturing Engineering Study Program was established in 2013 based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia number 166/E/O/2013.This study program is a center of vocational education and human resource development in the field of Manufacturing Technology.
The main competencies developed are mastering product development technology, conventional and modern manufacturing technology, managing manufacturing facilities, and design and repairing manufacturing facilities that follow the development of the era and are able to have entrepreneurial insights through competency-based learning. The main competency areas developed are:
1.Manufacturing and Assembly Process Technology,
2.Development TechnologyProducts and Reverse Engineering,
3.Optimization of Manufacturing Systems,
4.Automation and Robotic Manufacturing.
Core courses taught include manual and CNC machining production techniques, CAD/CAM, machine design, Mold and Dies, Jig and fiture, Product Development, Product Quality Assurance, Production and Inventory Planning and Control (PPIC), Industrial Automation and courses according to interest.
This study program is able to produce and develop professional human resources in the field of Manufacturing Technology, play an active role in improving competency-based skills and skills, produce skilled personnel in the field of quality manufacturing process technology, entrepreneurial spirit, independent, cultured, environmentally minded and masterful and able to compete at the national and international level, improve the ability of real work in the field of manufacturing process technology that benefits the people and nation of Indonesia.
The study program is able to produce vocational workforce in the field of manufacturing process technology, have the ability to develop manufacturing process technology through integrated supply of knowledge and practice.
This study program consists of Regular Program and International cooperation class for relevant Senior High School/vocational High School/MA graduates, namely:
1. Regular class of Manufacturing Engineering.
2. International cooperation class with Management Science University (MSU), Malaysia with double degree program.
