Then currently the Department of Mechanical Engineering is plotting the Lecturer Expertise Group (KBK) into one lecturer for one course, so that the Mechanical Engineering Department can find out what lecturers are lacking and in what fields, and the Department can map the lecturer to research according to their field of expertise. For the number of lecturers, currently the Energy Conversion Study Program has more lecturers, but the Manufacturing Study Program lacks lecturers, plus there will be several lecturers who will retire in the next two or three years. Furthermore, in the field of cooperation, especially in the Electric Power Generation Study Program, to collaborate more intensely with geothermal training. Even though in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Formosa Tangerang cooperation has not been able to open classes because only 13 applicants are required, at least 25 prospective students must be selected. Finally, the collaboration with the University Technology Of Malaysia (UTM) which is ranked 4th in Malaysia, hopefully the cooperation can be realized soon.
